COURAGEOUS ● CAPABLE ● PROTECTIVE DOMINEERING ● IMPULSIVE ● GRIEVING -- Michael Rose hadn't made a particularly good police officer - he'd been to internalised, too focused on his own needs and gains. They had thought that a re-assignment to the dog squad (where he became Strauss, a codename that remains to this day) and setting him up with a moral, sympathetic partner would change his ways, and for a little it did - he fell in love with her. But when Maria Paglia died whilst on duty, part of Strauss died too. He went renegade and - forsaking all his old ties to the force - he hired himself out to the criminal underworlds. Now, Strauss acts as the right-hand man for the local crime boss - he's the paid muscle, the unthinking weapon. |
